After a two year hiatus, the British Block Party was finally able to return! And despite the very rainy weather, we had an excellent turn out.
We estimate about 100 people came out to meet our team, check out our shop, and look at cool, local British cars!
We served up bangers, mash, and mint peas to keep the traditional British feel. When not eating or mingling, people were swaying to the music, grabbing Kings Cross Bucks in the cash blowing machine, and spinning our prize wheel to win swag. The umbrellas we gave away were a big hit on such a drizzly day!
We appreciate each and everyone of you that came out to support this event. It really is a great opportunity for us to get to know our customers and give them an inside look at the shop.
Special thanks to our crew who worked hard preparing for the event and helping coordinate the day of activities. You all rock and we couldn’t ask for a better Kings Cross family. (We even had former employees come by to lend a hand. You all are the bees knees!)
And the day wouldn’t be nearly as fun without these wonderful vendors who help us pull everything off.
